  1. converts mac sampled sounds to Sun Ulaw format sounds and
  2. vice versa. In one direction Ulaw extracts the sounds from
  3. the 'snd ' resources of any Mac file. Then it interpolates
  4. to the Sun audio 8kHz sampling rate and applies the
  5. standard Ulaw quantization characteristic. In the other
  6. direction it reads a Sun Ulaw Format Sound File and creates
  7. a double clickable Mac sound file (sfil) at any desird
  8. sampling rate. Any number of mac files can be dragged and
  9. dropped onto the Ulaw application icon and Ulaw will
  10. extract, play and store every 'snd ' resource in the
  11. resource fork of eac
